What to Watch on Wednesday: ‘Criminal Minds’ spins ‘Beyond Borders’

Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (10 p.m., CBS) – This “Criminal Minds” spinoff follows the FBI unit that investigates cases involving American citizens in foreign countries. Tonight, when three young American volunteers go missing in Thailand, the International Response Team (IRT), led by Unit Chief Jack Garrett (Gary Sinise), are sent to investigate their disappearance. It also stars Alana de la Garza (“Law & Order”) and Tyler James Williams (“Everybody Hates Chris”).

Schitt’s Creek (8 p.m., Pop) – In the Season 2 premiere, the Roses search for their missing son, and Moira decides to cook dinner.

Black-ish (9:30 p.m., ABC) – As a biography project, Diane makes a documentary about Jack’s burgeoning basketball career, as Dre and Bow move him into a more serious league.

The Americans (10 p.m., FX) – In the Season 4 premiere, Philip and Elizabeth deal with the consequences of their actions (and Paige’s) while trying to complete a dangerous assignment involving bio-weapons.

Underground (10 p.m., WGN) – A plantation dance is the perfect distraction for a heist.

Teachers (10:30 p.m., TV Land) – In the season finale, Ms. Cannon questions her worth when her students don’t give her gifts.
