Tony Awards (8 p.m., CBS) – The 70th annual ceremony, honoring excellence on Broadway, is hosted by James Corden.

The Last Ship (9 p.m., TNT) – Season 3 starts with Tom Chandler sent to Asia to investigate the possible mutation of the Red Flu, while Capt. Slattery and his crew deliver the cure to Southeast Asia.

Preacher (9 p.m., AMC) – Cassidy helps Jesse explore his newfound power, and based on new information, Tulip tries to convince Jesse to seek revenge.

Ride with Norman Reedus (10 p.m., AMC) – In this new series, Reedus, who plays Darryl on “The Walking Dead,” travels the country on his motorcycle. Tonight, he rides up the Pacific Coast Highway to check out some dune buggies and a futuristic bike.

House of Lies (10 p.m., Showtime) – In the season finale, the Pod heads to Havana, where they all must reevaluate their personal and professional lives.

Veep (10:30 p.m., HBO) – Selina takes Catherine to a family celebration at Camp David.
