What to Watch on Saturday: Animals set to song in ‘Hello World’

Hello World! (8 p.m., Discovery) – The start of a new six-part series looking at the wonders of the natural world with the work of popular musicians used as a backdrop. First up, Usher’s song “Stronger” sets the scene as a sea turtle, a bighorn sheep and a red fox demonstrate how adversity makes them more resilient. At 8:30, Christina Aguilera’s “Light Up the Sky” showcases the maternal protection of animals like polar bears, mountain goats and cheetah. Other artists lending their work to the series include Ellie Goulding, Joan Jett, Dave Matthews and Steven Tyler.

Angel From Hell (8 p.m., CBS) – Allison is nervous about dating, so Amy suggests she have a fling to work out her feelings.

Hell on Wheels (9 p.m., AMC) – Chang forces Mei to leave Truckee after discovering her secret, and Cullen exorcises some old demons during his search.

Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet (9 p.m., Animal Planet) – In the Season 2 finale, Dr. Jeff makes a special connection with the owner of an injured dog.
