What to Watch on Saturday: AMC’s ‘Hell on Wheels’ series ends

Hell on Wheels (9 p.m., AMC) – In the series finale, government hearings, incalculable actions and the golden spike breed new beginnings and endings for those left standing.

Also on tonight . . .

Angel From Hell (8 p.m., CBS) – The series ends tonight with two episodes. First, Allison and Amy accidentally record a conversation about guardian angels on Marv’s answering machine and then must keep him from hearing it. Then Amy tries to break up Allison’s friend’s wedding to put Allison’s future on track.

Hello World (8 p.m., Discovery) – The final two episodes feature Joan Jett music set to wolves, alligators and sharks; and Dave Matthews music set to fresh water by animals like the rhino and manatee.

Rush Hour (9 p.m., CBS) – Carter and Lee hunt for an escaped prisoner looking for his estranged wife and daughter, who entered a witness protection program.

Looking: The Movie (10 p.m., HBO) – A new series about three close friends in San Francisco. Created by Michael Lannan.

The Vet Life (10 p.m., Animal Planet) – In the Season 1 finale, a dog needs an emergency C-section.
