Jamillah “Jam” Muhammad is named by Beasley Media as program director its Charlotte urban stations, WPEG-FM (“Power 98” 97.9) and WBAV-FM (“V” 101.9). Muhammad, who replaces Terri Avery, was most recently a programmer for Radio One in Washington, D.C. … Greater Media has signed WBT-AM (1110) “Charlotte’s Morning News” morning host Bo Thompson to a multi-year contract extension, says general manager Rick Feinblatt. Thompson took over the morning job from former host Al Gardner three years ago this month.
