Matt Swierad will return for this 18th season calling Knights games on flagship WZGV-AM (ESPN 730), beginning with Friday’s exhibition game against the Knights’ parent Chicago White Sox. He will be joined by 11-year veteran Mike Pacheco and for Saturday home games by former Knights pitcher Jake Robbins, a Myers Park High School grad who played for the Cleveland Indians. WBT-AM (1110) will carry seven “Saturday Knight Baseball” broadcasts plus Friday night’s exhibition game against the Chicago White Sox, with sports director Jim Szoke being joined by various WBT personalities. … Promotions manager Ron DeJoseph, who won multiple Emmys at WSOC (Channel 9), joins the Fox affiliate in Memphis as creative services director.
