She comes from a station in Washington, D.C. … S.C.’s Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame will open in September in Johnson Hall at Winthrop University after moving from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. “Students will find the exhibit inspirational as they move from class to class, and visitors to the campus will learn something important about the history of the broadcasting industry and its leaders in the state,” says Marilyn Sarow, interim chair of Winthrop’s Department of Mass Communication.
