WSOC-FM (103.7) morning host Rob Tanner has hit a setback in his recovery from cancer. In a six-month scan, specialists found a small but growing nodule on his kidney. Could just be a cyst. Tanner marks 10 years on the morning show this week. … Frank Lassiter, who was a cast member of Tanner’s show for years before retiring, is battling cancer as well at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem. …
