WSOC-FM (103.7) morning host Rob Tanner faces another surgery in his battle against cancer after the discovery during a regular check-up of a low-grade tumor on his right kidney. Doctors will remove it and part of the kidney as well. Tanner says prognosis is good. …

Ainsley Earhardt, who graduated from the University of South Carolina and worked for the CBS affiliate in Columbia before joining the Fox News Channel in 2007, has been named co-host of the “Fox & Friends” weekday morning show with Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. She replaces Elisabeth Hasselbeck at the end of February.
