I grew up in the 2000s, so, of course, I spent years with my straightener on high trying to achieve that sleek hair look that every celebrity was rocking. Over the years, I\u2019ve learned to appreciate my natural curl, but every once in a while, I do like to switch it up and straighten my hair. However, now that I know about heat damage, I try to do as much as I can to avoid it. That\u2019s why I turned to the <\/span>Dyson Corrale hair straightener<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>

Not only does this straightener look like it\u2019s straight out of the year 3000, but it\u2019s actually designed with technology that prevents heat damage \u2014 all while allowing you to live out your straight-hair dreams. This straightener feels more high tech than any other I\u2019ve ever tried before. It\u2019s designed with manganese copper alloy plates that actually don\u2019t fully touch the hair \u2014 just get close enough to straighten it, which prevents the heat damage that you usually get when using a typical straightener. It also reduces frizz and flyaways so you get salon-worthy hair without leaving your home.<\/p>

One of the coolest features of the Dyson Corrale<\/a> is that it\u2019s cordless \u2014 the battery lasts up to 30 minutes before it needs a charge, which usually lasts me through at least three straightening sessions. And it only takes about 40 minutes to get up to 90% charge. Now, I\u2019ve never actually straightened my hair while on the go before, but I could if I wanted to, and that fact itself is pretty innovative. It also comes with a travel bag and a stand so you\u2019re able to set it down and not worry about it causing damage to your bathroom counter.<\/p>

As with many other Dyson products, the biggest drawback to the Corrale is the price. But Dyson prides itself on quality, and they really do create innovative products that really nobody else can replicate. I was so surprised the first time I used my Corrale; I was able to fully straighten my hair in a matter of minutes, and it looked great. I ended up sharing the Corrale with my mom because she wears her hair straight more than me, and she was also super impressed by it (and got mad when I took it back for a little bit).<\/p>

And my mom and I are not the only fans of this straightener. While many people do balk at the price, reviewers who have tried the Dyson Corrale say it really is worth the investment. \u201cLike many people, I was skeptical of whether it was worth the money, but boy is it!!\u201d one reviewer says<\/a>. \u201cI have super thick wavy\/curly hair that is horrible to straighten.
