As a commerce editor, it kind of goes without saying that I love shopping. Some might look at my closet and say that I have a problem, but I believe that it’s all part of the job in order to find what’s really worth purchasing. And one of my absolute favorite things to shop for is sweaters. I currently have more than 30, and yet, Everlane’s The Boxy Sweater in Everyday Cotton<\/a> is my absolute favorite. Right now, this classic style is 30% off during the brand’s Friends & Family sale<\/a>, so it’s a perfect opportunity to try it for yourself.<\/p>

Normally $118, this 100% cotton sweater<\/a> is now just $83. And while this might still feel a little steep, I can tell you for a fact that it’s a great investment. I have the sweater in the Canvas\/Black Stripe<\/a>, and it’s such a classic that I know I’ll be wearing it for years. It’s made from organic cotton that’s so soft and cozy to the touch, and it has a boxy fit with dropped shoulders and a crew neck\u2014features that will always be stylish.<\/p>

Since the sweater<\/a> is made from cotton, it can be worn throughout the year. I wore it a few times over the summer when it was cooler at night and I didn’t overheat. But I know that I will reach for it constantly this fall and winter because it will keep me warm. Plus, it looks just as good with black jeans as it does with trousers, so it really is a versatile addition to your wardrobe.<\/p>

I’m not the only fan of the The Boxy Sweater<\/a>. It has a 4.6 out of 5-star rating with reviewers raving about the quality. “Seriously the best! This sweater is very versatile. I can wear it around the house to be cozy, out and about to be cute or at work and still look professional,” one reviewer says. “I got my usual size, and it has a nice boxy look, but isn’t super drapey. It is forgiving. I have wide shoulders, so the sweater doesn’t hang as much on me as it does on the model, which I actually prefer.”<\/p>
