The North Carolina district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration is seeking nominations for “champions who have advocated on behalf of veteran business owners, women business owners and minority business owners.” Individuals who have fulfilled a commitment to the advancement of women, veteran or minority business ownership may be nominated. The largest entrepreneurial gathering in the Southeast brings together more than 60 growth-stage companies, more than 100 venture capital funds and the Charlotte Venture Challenge startup competition.
