Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are questioning a 13-year-old teenager who was driving a car that hit a house Friday and then fled with two other occupants in the vehicle.
Police found a Kia Sedona partially inside a home in the 1600 block of Vancouver Drive in north Charlotte. The home’s owner said the car struck the house about 6:16 p.m. and the occupants quickly fled the scene.
Soon, the teenager driver returned and police charged him with marijuana possession and resist, obstruct and delay. The car apparently belongs to the minor’s grandmother.
Police believe he was driving the car.
