Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Chief Rodney Monroe and Mecklenburg Sheriff Chipp Bailey will address members of the new Justice and Public Safety Task Force at their meeting tomorrow morning.
The 14-member citizens' panel also will hear from Todd Nuccio, the county's trial court administrator.

Each speaker will give an overview of their respective agency and field questions from task force members.
The meeting is set for 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in room 267 of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 E. Fourth Street in uptown.
Mecklenburg County commissioners appointed the task force this year to offer recommendations on ways to improve the local criminal justice system. The group will present its ideas to commissioners this fall to commissioners. The county has set aside $2 million to help implement the group's recommendations.
