These sessions are a prelude to the start of the school year – which, for teachers, is Monday. Students don't return to the classroom until Aug. 25, a week from Monday. But teacher workdays begin next week, as instructors will be attending workshops and preparing their classrooms for the start of the academic year.
During the orientation sessions at Mallard Creek High, the new teachers will learn about CMS and state policies and will get other information about their new jobs.
