Garcia stopped at a stop sign before attempting to turn left onto U.S. 21 South and pulled into Traywick's northbound vehicle, Crouse said. According to witness statements, a northbound vehicle turning onto Abberly Green may have blocked Garcia's view, Crouse said. Traywick's tractor-trailer struck Garcia's car in the driver's side door. Traywick's and Garcia's vehicles continued through the southbound lane of U.S. 21 before stopping on the shoulder of the road, Crouse said.
