Edwards, Hamlin impressive in final Cup practices

Practice update

Carl Edwards and Denny Hamlin were the most consistent drivers during Saturday's practices. Hamlin led the way during the morning session with Edwards sixth, and Edwards posted the fastest speed of the final session with Hamlin third fastest.

Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr., who won at Michigan in June, also ran in the top 10 in both sessions.
