A driver was killed early Sunday in Greenville County, S.C., when he ran off the road, was thrown from the vehicle and was hit by another motorist, the S.C. Highway Patrol said.
The second motorist left the scene.

The first driver was traveling in a 2004 Toyota Camry northbound on U.S. 25, one mile north of Travelers Rest, when he lost control and crossed the median, overturning.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle into the southbound lanes.
Another vehicle traveling south on U.S. 25 struck the driver.
There were no other passengers in the Camry.
The victim's name has not been released.
