Police were investigating the vandalism of some of the cars on display at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the weekend's AutoFair.
Few details were available early Sunday afternoon, but it was reported that vandals had spray-painted the interior of as many as 10 vehicles.
AutoFair is held twice annually at the 1.5-mile speedway in Concord. The event, sponsored by Food Lion, custom and classic car enthusiasts. Buyers and sellers of cars, parts, tools and souvenirs also attend.
Attendance over the weekend tops 100,000, the speedway says on its website.
