Two south Charlotte schools top the Wachovia Cup standings after the fall season. The standings were announced in December by Wachovia and the N.C. High School Athletic Association.
Myers Park leads the 4A standings. The Mustangs, who won the award for 2008-09, were runners-up in girls' dual team tennis and boys' soccer.
Ardrey Kell is in third place in the 4A standings.
Charlotte Catholic leads the 3A standings after winning the girls' dual team tennis title and finishing third in girls' golf and girls' cross country. The school also was a state semifinalist in boys' soccer and football.
Wachovia Cup points are determined based on performances in state championships. The top eight finishers in each championship earn points.
