For July 4th, enjoy the festivities held at Harrisburg Park—they regularly draw 50,000 visitors to the town of Harrisburg. One of the highlights is always the Miss 4th of July Pageant, open to girls of all ages. Come see this year’s queens crowned at Hickory Ridge High School, June 30 at 6 p.m. They’ll ride in the parade float on July 2. Other activities at Harrisburg Park include amusements, games, food, arts and crafts vendors, live music and fireworks at 10 p.m. both nights. No alcohol, no coolers, no pets.
