Last night I visited the NoDa Run Club to ask runners about what they think about while running. The answers I got were across the board and included everything from "not dying" to "counting my steps" to "beer."
For many, running serves as a time that they can zone out, not think and clear their head. Others use it as a time to work things out in their head. Several runners even referred to running as their own personal form of therapy.

Join Run Charlotte Run and OrthoCarolina at the NoDa Run Club every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. With 1, 3 and 5 mile routes, this run has an option for everyone. The run starts and ends at NoDa Brewing Company. Stay for a beer and conversation after. There's also a local food truck and King of Pops.
