Police have charged a 19-year-old in the killing of a man on Hovis Road Saturday morning.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say they found 28-year-old Darien Marquis Hoskins suffering gunshot wounds inside a vehicle in the 4300 block of Hovis.
Medic pronounced Hoskins dead at the scene.
Theopopolis Raquan Martin turned himself in at police headquarters Sunday.
After interviewing Martin, detectives charged him with murder in the death of Hoskins.
Saturday, police said they believed an altercation between the two men led to the killing.
