As we wade into 2016, we’re making a few beauty and fashion predictions about the “it” brands that will by vying to take over our closets and makeup bags.
On the radar: Everything from a Parisian-inspired brand with pieces well under $50 to cocoa-infused makeup that gives us a new way to indulge in chocolate.
Here are four up-and-coming fashion and beauty brands to keep an eye on in 2016.
1. Parisian-chic clothing line
Parisians are so chic, oui? Oui!
An up-and-coming exclusive line at Macy’s is inspired by Parisian street style (think: equal parts playful and sophisticated). Meet Maison Jules, the contemporary clothing line that features simple silhouettes enhanced with sweet details – like lace hems, bows and embellished collars. While it’s inspired by one of the world’s style capitals, the price points are certainly budget-friendly.

2. Cocoa-infused makeup
Too Faced, one of our go-to beauty brands, has launched a new line of chocolate-inspired makeup just in time for Valentine’s season.
The beauty brand is sweetening up some of its cosmetics by infusing antioxidant-rich cocoa into lip gloss and eye shadows. (Yes, it’s chocolate-scented!).

Meet fashion’s newest darling: Self-Portrait. The high-end, London-based brand debuted in 2013 and is created by designer Han Chong. The inspiration? A contemporary line that is red carpet-worthy.
Self-Portrait has found fans in celebs like Reese Witherspoon, Kristen Stewart and Beyonce.

4. Do good while you shop
A retail trend that we can’t get enough of? Consciously made products that donate a portion of proceeds to charity.
The Parks Project collection at Target includes T-shirts, hats, key chains and sleeveless shirts. A portion of each sale goes toward projects in America’s National Parks.
