Charleston Magazine launches contest for aspiring designers

Charleston Magazine is accepting applications for its newly launched Emerging Fashion Designer Competition: Southeast. A panel of five judges will award nine aspiring designers the opportunity to show their collections during Charleston Fashion Week (March 24-28). The winner will be recognized at the finale gala, March 28. Contest rules include: Applicants must be 18 or older and a resident of North or South Carolina or Georgia. Applications and rules for the competition can be found at Charleston Fashion Week's Web site: www.charlestonfashionweek.com. Deadline for submission is Nov. 17.
