Designer Annie Selke is best known for her inexpensive yet delightful rugs from Dash & Albert Rug Co., her elegant furniture and bedding from Pine Cone Hill, and her pottery from Potluck Studios.
But she's really not well known at all. Merchandise from her three companies, based in western Massachusetts, is available at only a handful of stores across the country.
That's about to change. Calico Corners has started selling Selke's fabric and furniture in all of its stores. Fabric ranges from $27 to $38 a yard, except for an ivory cotton eyelet pattern for $60 a yard. The furniture collection includes tables, which start at $1,000, and sofas and chairs, which start at $1,450, including delivery but not fabric.
