Charm Bar: The Friends of Jenna and Beadlush host a Charm Bar fundraiser 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Beadlush, 1212 The Plaza, to raise money for a renovation project for Jenna Clayton, a Charlotte woman who faces medical challenges daily. Clayton, who was born without an esophagus and has Down syndrome, is a student at Central Piedmont Community College and volunteers at a school and a children’s hospital. Those who donate $25 can make a bracelet with a heart charm from the “Have A Heart” collection. Clayton will be at the event, and complimentary beverages will be served. www.beadlush.com.

Southern Christmas Show: “All Aboard for Christmas!” is the theme of this 47th annual show featuring 6 acres of holiday crafts, gifts, decorations, festive food, art, entertainment and more. It’s open daily through Sunday at the Park Expo and Conference Center, 2500 E. Independence Blvd. Hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Admission at the door is $11; $3 for 6-12; free for 5 and younger with a paying adult. Advance tickets are $9.50 at participating Harris Teeter locations with a VIC card.
