Getting a taste of Ramen Soul, chef Tim Groody’s new Asian-inspired restaurant in Mooresville, has been tricky if you’re the lunch type. It opened several months ago with dinner hours only. But now they’ve expanded hours beyond dinner, added a special lunch menu to the regular menu and opened up a patio.

The new lunch menu adds banh mi sandwiches, onigirazu (AKA sushi sandwiches, or stuffed rice balls) and poke bowls. You can still get the regular menu, as well, including ramen and dim sum-style appetizers. The restaurant is also adding drink specials Monday-Wednesday ($3 draft beers on Monday, half-priced bottles of wine on Tuesdays and $7 specialty cocktails on Wednesday.)

Groody still operates FORK! Restaurant a little farther down the road in Cornelius. With the new hours, Ramen Soul, 694 Brawley School Road in Mooresville, is open daily from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday, and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
