A new business that has been known for wine is branching out to morning with coffee and pastries.
Dilworth Tasting Room, the wine bar that took over the space that used to be Dilworth Billiards on Tremont Avenue near South Boulevard, has started offering breakfast, with Stumptown coffee beans and sweet and savory pastries baked in-house by chef Brett Levan.
“Coffee has always been part of the plan,” saud owner Jaffer Kovic. “We are creating a neighborhood bistro or cafe. Someplace where you can come in any time of the day and get the best, and things you’re not likely to find elsewhere in Charlotte.”
While coffee will be available during regular hours, the coffee service and pastries will be offered 7-10 a.m. Monday-Friday.
