School is almost out for summer, but that doesn’t mean you can stop learning. Put these on your summer calendar:

▪ The first summer chocolate class on making truffles sold out, so the Secret Chocolatier has added a second class, 2-4 p.m. July 11. Led by chef Bill Dietz, you’ll make truffle ganache, learn about flavor infusions, and prep treats. The class is $60 and geared to ages 14 and older. Reservations are required (and hurry, since you’ve seen how fast they sell out). Call 704-323-8178, email info@thesecretchocolatier.com or go to homemadechocolategifts.com/events-classes/.

▪ The City Kitch has added two Saturday classes in the Kids Can Cook series: Tapas from 3-6 p.m. June 6, and Mediterranean from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. June 20. Classes are hands-on and cost $45. Location: 9545 Pinnacle Drive, Charlotte. Details and registration: 704-499-3046 or www.thecitykitch.com.

▪ CityKitch also has a class for adults: Mediterranean Date Night, 7-10 p.m. June 27. That one is $168 per couple. Same address and website for details and registration.
