The ever-popular Alton Brown will bring a new show, “Eat Your Science,” to 40 cities next year, including a Charlotte stop in April.
“Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science” includes “comedy, talk show antics, multimedia presentations and music (yes, he sings),” and Brown also promises “bigger ponchos” for the first few rows -- his way of saying “expect it to be messy.”
The tour kicks off April 6 at the Gaillard Center in Charleston, and lands in Charlotte April 17 at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Other stops in the Carolinas include April 7 in Fayetteville, April 8 in Columbia and April 15 in Durham.
Brown, the host of numerous shows including “Good Eats,” has a new book coming out in fall 2016, “Alton Brown: Every Day Cook,” a collection of 100 of his personal recipes, along with a little science and history.
