You’ve got your Wood Roasted Avocado Toast for breakfast, your Lamb & Eggs and Charred Kale for lunch, and your Sticky Pork Shank for dinner. We got a sneak peek this morning of the new menus (below) for Stoke.
Chris Coleman, formerly of The Asbury, has been at work on a new menu for Stoke, the new restaurant that’s part of the revamped Marriott City Center uptown. In the menu’s own words: “Stoke is the warmth of wood-fired cooking complemented by closely sources ingredients in season from Carolina farms and local partners.”
So yes, the new space will focus on wood-fired cooking, and you’ll see that all over the menu, like Wood Finished Smoked Chicken. Even the side dishes are woody (BBQ Carrots, Blistered Tomatoes).
Yes, I know, your first question is price range: Mostly $14 to $24 at dinner (although there’s a Tomahawk Ribeye for $75; we assume that’s meant to be shared). Mostly $6 to $14 at lunch and breakfast.
