Dr. Vanessa Hinson, director of the Movement Disorders Program at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, will be the keynote speaker for the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas’ second annual symposium, Caring for Parkinson’s – Caring for You, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Church, 5801 Pineville-Matthews Road.
The free symposium for patients and families living with Parkinson’s disease will also feature speakers from Carolinas HealthCare System, UNC-Chapel Hill and Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Associates.
