Charlotte-area immigrants can learn about health, food and financial assistance programs at a free meeting Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Midwood International and Cultural Center at International House, 1817 Central Ave.
“Health, Food, Income: What Immigrant Families Are Eligible for in Our Community” is sponsored by Legal Services of the Southern Piedmont, Enroll America, International House, the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services. Representatives from each organization will speak. Interpreters will be available, and refreshments will be served.
