Fortiline Giving Days, a special two-day charity event hosted by Fortiline Waterworks in Concord, will provide gift cards to 200 children in need to purchase $100 worth of goods each from Target this holiday season. The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, from 8 to 10 a.m., at the Target in the Winslow Bay Commons, 594 River Hwy in Mooresville. 100 children will be selected to participate at the Mooresville location, while an additional 100 children will be chosen in Ashville.
Fortiline is now accepting nominations for children who could benefit most from this generous event. Those selected for each location will be announced in late November. The children and their families will be invited to a celebration at Target to spend their $100 gift card. Volunteers from Fortiline will be on hand to accompany the children during the giving day.
“We are very excited to host Fortiline Giving Days as a way of giving back to our communities this holiday season,” said Mike Swedick, President and CEO of Fortiline. “We look forward to helping out families during each giving day and we hope that we can make their holiday one they will always remember.”
The nomination process is open to all, with forms available on Fortiline’s website, http://www.fortiline.com/about-us/fortiline-giving-days.
