Summer is the perfect time for casual family entertaining. Invite friends or set up a party just for your family - either way, you’re sure to have a blast!
1. Make it a Frozen Summer.
Get a plastic box and add some small toys then fill with water. Freeze and then let the kids break the ice to get to the toys. Enjoy snow cones, snow flakes, marshmallow treats, coconut drinks and of course, warm hugs.
2. Water party.

Get out the Slip ‘N Slide and turn on the sprinklers! Add to the fun with water guns or squirters, make a watermelon punch bowl, turn a pool noodle into a large sprinkler, and have a water balloon fight.
3. Backyard games.
Turn your backyard into a fun zone with some of these creative ideas: paint a Twister board on your lawn, set up a croquet court, play horseshoes, use pool noodles to make an obstacle course, make a tic-tac-toe board with tape and use Frisbees to play.
4. Have a night party.
Everybody loves playing in the dark! Hang lanterns, candles in mason jars, tiki torches and rope lighting. Have a glow stick hunt, catch fireflies, and roast S'mores.
5. Island Party.
No need to get on a plane and fly to an exotic location to get the feel of the islands! Make some fruity frozen drinks, get a few baby pools, beach balls, hula skirts, and lays.
