Do you know someone who has had an especially rough year? Maybe they are going through a serious medical condition and are out of work. Perhaps they lost their job recently and have been looking for work, but had to take a job that pays less than what they were used to making. Maybe you know someone who is trying really hard, but just doesn't seem to be getting a break in life. HopeMatch is a local charity that wants you to tell them who they are so the non-profit organization can reach out and supply a helping hand during the holidays! You can remain anonymous, but without your help, HopeMatch won't know about the families in our community that could use the encouragement of Christmas being taken care of this year.

HopeMatch provides holiday assistance to people in need at Christmas time by matching local needs with compassionate givers. Nominations will be accepted on their website from today through 11/30.

Please be advised that while HopeMatch helps as many people as they can, not everyone who is nominated will be able to be helped this season. But they want to keep it a surprise for the family you nominate, if possible, which decreases the risk of disappointment if they are not able to help.

CHRISTMAS SPONSORSHIPS

Additionally HopeMatch is looking for families, individuals, and groups who are interested in sponsoring families during the holiday season. They are accepting donors and will be getting wish lists out soon to people who sign up early. Donors may either shop for a family or donate money and volunteers will shop for the family. For a better understanding of how HopeMatch works, see the matching process, as it runs from referrals to screenings, matching to wrapping and delivering, follow up and paying it forward:
