We’ve heard of food recalls, stroller recalls and even toy recalls, but this week was the first we’d ever heard of a denim recall.
But it’s true...8,300 pairs of Golden Horse “Nursery Rhyme Play” five-pocket denim pants sold at Belk from June to September of this year are affected, according to Katherine Peralta’s recent Charlotte Observer article and the U.S. Consuer Product Safety Commission. The issue? The zipper pull can detach and pose a choking hazard to young children.
Affected jeans have the style number 4122186 or 4122185 printed on a white tracking label and sewn into the lower left inside seam. Manufacture date codes 0415 or 0515 are also printed on the tracking label. The pants were sold in infant sizes 6/9M through 24M.
If your baby is sporting a pair of these, return them to Belk for a full refund. For more information, contact Golden Horse at 844-594-3339 or visit www.Belk.com.
