Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with friends and family. December arrives on Tuesday, and that means it's time to get to shopping for all of those folks on your list this year. Two great chances to do just that are happening this week...

Charlotte Warehouse Sale is having their Winter Liquidation Event this week starting on Wednesday evening. You can be entered to win a $25 gift certificate if you visit our Facebook Page and LIKE the Charlotte Warehouse Sale post by Tuesday at noon.

Also this week is the Christ Church Charlotte Christmas Bazaar on Saturday morning. Greenery, baked goods, jewelry, art work and much, much more will be available. Don't miss this great event.

Head to the Reedy Creek Nature Center this morning at 10am for Budding Adventures.

The Leonard Bearstein Symphony Orchestra returns to Founders Hall today with performances through December 31.

Ray's Splash Planet hosts their final Parent and Tot Meet and Greet of 2015 today. 10am-3pm.

The new Body Worlds exhibit is now open at Discovery Place. Probably best for older elementary ages and up.

Toddler Tuesdays are back at Sea Life Aquarium today (and every Tuesday),

Don't miss Letters to Santa today (and Thursday) at Discovery Place Kids at 11am and 2pm.

Christmas at the Library begins today at the Billy Graham library, and continues through December 23rd.

The lights come on tonight in McAdenville for Christmas Town USA. Lights are on nightly through December 26th.

Santa's Bag begins this morning at Children's Theatre of Charlotte. Don't miss this annual shopping experience for kids. Through Saturday.

Wee Wednesdays continue today at the Main Street Children's Museum at 10:30am.

Discovery Place Kids hosts Penguins today (and Friday) at 11am and 2pm.

Discovery Place Kids also hosts a Gingerbread Workshop today at 11am and 2pm.

Head to Pocket Park in Uptown for FREE Music on Wednesdays, 11:30am-1:30pm.

Don't miss the Charlotte Nature Museum's Wild Wednesday: Tricky Tracks today at 12:30pm.

Christmasville Rock Hill 2015 begins today and continues through Sunday. Lots of fun for the whole family.

Ages 3 and up are invited to the Latta Plantation Nature Center this afternoon at 1pm for their Family Hiking Club.

Load up the car and head to Zootastic Park for their Christmas Wonderland of Lights. Continues through December 31.

Head to the McDowell Nature Center for their Family Campfire this evening at 6pm.

The Charlotte Youth Ballet presents The Nutcracker with shows today through Sunday.

Head to the Charlotte Nature Museum this afternoon at 1pm for Citizen Science Friday: Christmas Bird Count.

Holidays at the Garden is in full swing through January 3 at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

Departing daily between now and January 3, don't miss Polar Express at Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.

Holiday on Ice runs through January 3 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza.
