Join Nicole Sodoma, Founder of Sodoma Law Foundation, and Vida Cantina, on Wednesday, June 22 for a summer block party fundraiser benefiting two area non-profit organizations: Fashion & Compassion and Pat's Place Child Advocacy Center.
Fashion & Compassion aims to transform communities through holistic economic empowerment, bringing dignity and opportunity to individuals who have been caught in a web of poverty and injustice as they heal spiritually, emotionally & physically, while Pat’s Place is the only child advocacy center in Mecklenburg County serving children from birth to age 18, providing a physical environment where a child's well-being is the first priority, reducing trauma and promoting healing from sexual abuse.
The event will be held at Fashion & Compassion at 1717 Cleveland Avenue in Charlotte from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and will feature a nacho bar, live music, and shopping. Expect to find jewelry, men's accessories, and home decor handcrafted by women artisans from around the world.
10% of shopping sales from the event will be donated to Pat’s Place, and there is a suggested donation of $5.00 per person which will also be given to Pat’s Place.
