15 million Americans suffer from food allergies - are you one of them? Learn the facts about food allergies on February 19th.
John T. Klimas, MD, Gray Norris, MD, and Emily W. Langley, MD, Board-Certifiedallergists with the Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center will examine this “emergingepidemic” at Myers Park Country Club. Topics will include food allergy vs. intolerance, common food allergies, food allergysymptoms and diagnosis, peanut allergy, gluten and genetically modified foods.
Foodallergies can be life threatening and are increasingly common among children under 18. The physicians will cover these and other related topics including questions from9:00-11:00 a.m. Exhibitors will also have books on related allergy and nutrition subjects as well asinformation promoting healthy eating and nutritional awareness.
