It is Triple Time at Harris Teeter – This is a great opportunity for those of you who need to stockpile items. When you have a coupon for an item, and it is on sale, buy as many as you have coupons for. This is especially important if you are saving at least 70%. Warning: Initially, building a stockpile can actually make you spend more on your weekly groceries, because you still need to buy most of your essentials AND stock up on sale items.

Remember great items to stockpile are:

Toothpaste Shampoo Toothbrushes Lotion Body wash Shaving items Cleaning products Paper towels Toilet paper Canned goods Cereal Storage bags Trash bags Marinades Dog food Rice Pasta Peanut Butter Jelly Baking items – cake mixes, frosting Wipes Diapers Water Juice (bottled)
Harris Teeter Coupon Acceptance Policy

They accept

»     coupons that have not passed their expiration date for use

»     Only one manufacturer coupon per purchased item.

»     Internet manufacturer’s coupons for product; however no “free” product internet coupons are accepted, with the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, they accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.

Tripling:

They accept 20 triple coupons per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit to be exceeded. They triple  manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $2.97 or entire retail of item; whichever is less.

They will triple up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon

Get Organized: Look at the list below and circle items you might be interested in and match up the item with coupons in your coupon book. Then look in your coupon book for high value coupons ($.75-  $.50) and pull them out.  Make a list and sort items by location on the store. Ex: Dairy, Cereal etc. Then put them in order of your typical walk through the grocery store.

The List:

Here is a list of FREE or almost FREE items if you use recent coupon inserts. The coupons could be found in either the Smart Source, Proctor & Gamble  insert or Red Plum inserts in the Sunday papers.
