Look at the fantastic, completely updated room I got for only $ 39 a night through Hotwire.com when I recently traveled to Chicago. This room was at a Holiday Inn Express that is aimed at the business traveler, so it is clean and updated, includes FREE breakfast and Internet access! What a deal!
I use Kayak.com for airfares because they search over 140 airlines and travel agencies to get the best flight deals! Check out DoHop.com and Bing.com which even has a 7-day Price Predictor to advise you if you should book now or wait, based on price trends. I have also recently discovered a site called cFares.com for great airfares! Check that out!
Remember, travel agents say that flights in the United States and Canada tend to be cheapest when booked on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Prior to traveling to another city, whether Orlando to visit Disney World or any other city, check to see if there is a local publication of a coupon book, like the Entertainment Book or Citipass Book that you could order prior to traveling.
