The winner: I use vintage cotton sheets to line vintage or new fabric shower curtains, which I make into duvet covers. I add lace or buttons to jazz it up. I also use fabric shower curtains for window curtains. Inexpensive and yet stylish window treatments.

Try this with foil or shower curtain rings
To remove tiny rust stains on stainless steel, crumple aluminum foil into a ball and rub it over the spot. The rust is gone and there are no scratch marks. (Proceed at your own risk.) Another tip: Shower curtain rings that snap together have many uses. They can be attached to strollers or shopping cart handles to hold items like a purse to keep your hands free.
