Nutty trick works on pistachios

Here’s a simple trick to use when you get a pistachio that you can’t crack. Usually you can insert half of a discarded shell into the crack of a partially opened nut, give it a twist and “ta-da,” the nifty nugget is there for the noshing. While this doesn’t work for completely closed nuts, it works about 90 percent of the time if the shell is partially opened.

Smartphone makes great reading specs
