The winner: I needed to have a tray on my grill but wanted to be able to fold away to accommodate the cover. I had a couple of old music stands that I used the bottoms as bow holders for my archery equipment, so I used the sheet music holders (top) as hinges for the tray and attached to some wood. Mesh bags makes laundry a snap
Hang a small nylon mesh zippered laundry bag on a two-clip pants hangar, unzipped with one side hanging open, then hang in closet or by dirty clothes basket. Put dirty socks and/or nylons in bag as you take them off. When full, unclip bag, zip closed and add to regular wash and then put in the dryer with the wash. Socks stay together in the bag and are washed and dried without separating. No more lost socks. Nylons do not run either because the bag is nylon mesh. I have been doing this for years and have given a bag and hanger to many off-to-college kids and family and friends. So efficient. Vicki Mullins, Sherrills Ford
Bungee cords help with yard work
I can stack 2 or 3 times normal load of limbs on my wheelbarrow and attached a bungee cord across the load. Then, wheel to drop off for city pickup without dropping any limbs along route to drop off point. Camille Thomas, Charlotte
