The winner: I had trouble keeping my pocket squares organized and visible. I solved the problem by cutting a piece of 1 1/2-inch diameter PVC pipe into 4-inch lengths. I sanded the edges and stacked them in my armoire. I roll the individual squares and tuck them into a pipe section.

Bungee cords help with yard work
I can stack two or three times a normal load of limbs on my wheelbarrow when I stretch a bungee cord across the load. Then, I just wheel it to the curb without dropping any limbs along the way.

Flip washer to stop leak
If you have a leaky faucet or hose and no immediate spare, try reversing the washer as this will usually provide a tight seal that will stop the leak. (One of the handiest devices for removing hose washers is a paint can opener, which has a smooth, curved end that will not damage the washer.)
