There’s a lot of buzz building around the annual Remarkable Estate Sale presented by the friends of the Novant Health Foundation. It’s a chance to find treasures from the past and present, including items donated by some of Charlotte’s community leaders. Antique and designer furniture, lamps, art, porcelain, silver, heirloom jewelry, vintage collectibles and more will be for sale with proceeds going to cancer, heart and hospice services. The sale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 28 at historic Belk House on the grounds of Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. (A photo of the house is at the top of this blog.) Admission is free; all sales are final.
For a sneak peek of the sale items, join the host committee on March 27 at 6:30 p.m. for an exclusive preview party including live music, food from La-Tea-Da's and a silent auction. Tickets are $75 per person and must be reserved by March 21: 704-384-4048 or www.novanthealth.org/estatesale.
