A purse she didn’t even realize was missing gets returned

On a recent Saturday, I was at Northlake Mall. It was raining, and I put my raincoat over my head as we headed out to our car. My shoulder bag slipped from my shoulder onto the ground without my noticing.

As we got into the car, a young man tapped on the window and asked if I had a black bag. I answered yes … and then noticed I didn’t have it. He said his girlfriend was waiting for me at the mall entrance with my bag.

Whoever this young couple was – THANK YOU! Thank you for being honest and for saving me hours of canceling credit cards, replacing my driver’s license … not to mention saving me from replacing all the personal items in my purse.

I am so grateful for you, your kindness and your honesty.
