My experience with a good Samaritan happened on Nov. 10 at my orthopedist’s office, Barron & Homesley. I had received injections in my knees resulting in a very painful reaction. The staff offered a wheelchair to return me to the waiting room.
When I then tried standing up with noticeable discomfort, a young man – another patient – noticed my problem and offered to wheel me to my car, which was quite a distance from the office door.
He stayed with me until I was in my car and wished me well. I want to publicly thank Bernard Dorsey for his random act of kindness. His mother would be proud.
